Sadgurunath Maharaj - " A true Shiva devotee and story teller"

India is the land of ancient Vedas and profound scriptures. However, it is facing a growing disconnect from its rich cultural heritage. Modernization has undoubtedly brought progress. However, it has also led to a decline in traditional values and a diminishing interest in the profound knowledge enshrined in the Vedas and Shastras. These ancient texts which were once revered as guides for life, are often seen as outdated or irrelevant in today’s fast-paced world. On the other hand, Swami Sadguru Nath is at the forefront of a movement to revitalize the Vedas and Shastras, the ancient scriptures that form the bedrock of Indian culture.

His multifaceted efforts showcase his dedication to preserving and promoting India’s rich cultural heritage. Till now, he has trained over 2 lakh Pandits, the traditional Brahminical scholars of Hinduism to ensure the preservation and transmission of Vedic knowledge to future generations, safeguarded more than 15,000 cows, treating thousands of people using Ayurvedic practices, and has established over 14 centres where more than 5 lakh teachers instruct people in meditation and mudras to revive the Vedic traditions.

HIS EARLY LIFE

Shri Satish Kumar Awasthi, also known as Sadguru Nath, was born on January 1, 1982, in Lucknow, India. He completed his primary education at Samanik School. His further education was completed at Nardhan Ashram and Kashi Vishwa Vidyalaya. He obtained his MA degree in Acharya from Kashi Vishwa Vidyalaya in 2000 and his PhD in Padam Pathan in 2007.

While born into an ordinary family, financial circumstances led him to spend his formative years at his maternal grandparents’ house in Malihabad, Lucknow. Interestingly, Swami Ji harboured a fondness for sweets, curd, and ghee since his childhood. This fondness played a role in the awakening of his spiritual gifts. In his search for these treats, he would wander the village, observing people’s hands and making predictions about their lives. Remarkably, these predictions often came true. The villagers frequently sought his insights, primarily on matters like missing buffaloes or crop yields, and his intuitions proved surprisingly accurate. His predictions started to empower people to overcome challenges, achieve their goals, and live more fulfilling lives.

His Fame

His fame quickly reached his school, and the tables turned. Instead of traditional lessons, his teachers began seeking answers to their own life dilemmas from him. However, this growing attention started to affect his studies. Upon learning about Swami Ji’s abilities, his grandfather initially expressed concern. However, he explained that his predictions were motivated by his desire for sweets. His grandfather then suggested that he use his abilities to help others. Swami Ji agreed, and his grandfather became his staunch supporter. Encouraged by his grandfather’s support, Swami Ji stepped into the world of spirituality. He realized that his divine skills were a gift bestowed upon him to guide others towards their destiny. He embraced his role as a spiritual guide and dedicated himself to helping others achieve their full potential.
